Description: An addon which allows you to download files from HTTP or FTPs within mIRC without having you to open up your browser, especially when you have a slow computer :) The addon also allows you to download multiple files without worrying about the socket connections being in used. It comes with a pretty informative readme file. It tells you about how to load the addon, and how to use it, and even a small section saying some "geeky" features of the addon :) To start the addon, you type the command /sget [http/ftp addr] and a dialog will popup, trying to connect to the specified address. Within the dialog, you can make the dialog to stay on top, and also there's an option to let you automatically close the dialog window after the file is done. After the file is done, you can either launch the file from the dialog, OR you can also move the file to another directory. I found nothing wrong with the addon, and the codings are okay, neat and easy to understand (unless you don't know the HTTP and FTP protoc

Title: sendmail 1.2

Description: Little mIRC Addon that allows you to send emails without opening your EMail client. There isn't very much documentation except for the On LOAD echos of the script. The script is easily accessable via an alias command (that was told to you On LOAD), but the author should have probably added a little popup menu somewhere. The aliasname is not very descriptive and could be easily forgotten. The interface itself is a dialog window. Not all the editboxes have descriptions (for example, you have to figure out that the little thin one in the middle is the subject line, etc.) but the rest is fairly clear. The script itself is in brazilian, but that doesn't really matter much since most of it is fairly evident. The author checks if you have entered anything for the subject heading and message box or not before sending, which is a plus. The editbox for the message itself also seems to linewrap. However, you cannot use ENTER to skip to the next line or whatnot, but instead, have to use the SPACE key unti

Title: simple clone scanner

Format: Win OS

Description: Simple Clone Scanner is an addon that scans a specified channel for clones, and then reports them to you either in the active channel, or in a dialog. This option is based on your selection. The documentation provided was informative enough. It gave information about how to load the addon, useage, and other helpful things. It also gave a history of the addon itself as well. I like the author's coding techniques, they are very clean and up to date. I have no complaints with the coding. VERY good job! The clone scanning is very fast. I even tried it on large channels (DALnet's #FunFactory had 285 users in it when I scanned. The addon updated the IAL and scanned in 2.3 secs). Not too shabby at all. All in all, there's not much to comment on. The addon works great, and there are no bugs, from what I can tell. Great job Hantu! Highly recommended for clone scanning!

Title: smart nickcomp

Format: Win OS

Description: Nick Completor addon that allows you to chose and customize and make the styles for your nick completors. You can specify your own trigger (through a sign such as : or , either in front of behind the nick). If there is more than one match then it will pop up a dialog prompting you for the person that you really wanted to talk to. The addon has a fairly extensive readme file and is based on dialog windows. You can preview the styles that they have available, and use nice little coloured boxes to make your own. The script also offers to the option to complete the nick for certain commands (if it is the first parameter). The coding is well done, demonstrating the use of local aliases and custom identifiers, well chosen variable names etc. Wonderful work - definitely one of the best nick completor I have come across.

Title: strip mrc 1

Format: Win OS

Description: This is basically for scripters who want an identifier to strip out control codes based on what the user's settings are. It reads the mirc.ini and depending on that it will strip out what the user specified in the options dialog. There was no external documentation, but the script did give an example and a fair ammount of information as commented out text within the script.
